My first pumpkin carving...
I have been waiting for a long time to try pumpkin carving,and finally I got it done!!!
I had a kit already,just didn't have a pumpkin,lol!!The kit came with designs to try out...
So I couldn't wait until longer,I carved my 1st pumpkin!!
I think I did a pretty good job!!!So tonight,I get to do Kevin's.Since he loves Sonic so much,I found a design of a Sonic to do carve on his pumpkin!!I will take pictures of it too!!Tuesday, October 14, 2008
Peppers...
More peppers to pick,it looks so pretty,like Christmas light bulbs...
They are ripe and ready for infusion.
Here is a picture of some cured pepper bottles, yummi peppers in olive oil with garlic, bay leaves, cilantro, rosemary, oregano and other spices...
I also have made some with Vodka,it really brought out the spiciness of the peppers but with a hint of sweetness from the Vodka...
I am working on making some with Tequila, I can't wait...

I cant wait, I need a bigger laboratory...
Off making experiments yesterday, I ran into a fragrance I hadn't used,I wanted something for Fall,and I knew I had to have something in the fragrance bottles stock... I really don't like the same old pumpkin pie, or apple pie and cinnamon, that's just too much of the same thing...
So,I discovered I have 1lb of Black Currant & Raspberry.I love Currant fragrances and this one was perfect for what I wanted, not a boring Fall scent, but a seductive, warm and inspiring fragrance.
I am totally in love with the new soaps, they are just so delicious, and so sexy, lol!This fragrance would also go well with some lotion, I must get that done soon, I just love love love this fragrance and it has to be a Fall/Winter bestseller, I cant stop sniffing them, so yummi!!

Enjoying Summer ,this year was extremely hot in Florida.
Kevin and my parents,grandparents having fun!!
He made me so proud this year,my little Baseball player!!

I am a scorpio,but I think I have really learned to calm things down around me...
Not in rush for everything anymore,I am learning so much as I get older...
Crazy to say I was more serious at 18,than I am now.I guess I was so serious about how things had to be done,now a days I let life take me by,I stopped trying to control everything...
The most important and the most amazing thing in my life,is my son Kevin.
Oh,there is nothing in this world like being a mother,that is the ultimate feeling for me,I simply adore it!!
Kevin is my baby(althought he is 7 already),he still let me call him my baby every now and then,but he assures me,he is a man now.LOL!!
Kevin loves Art,like me,he is my biggest fan,he thinks my soap is the coolest thing around...
He can go on all day explaining what is does,and how special a soap bar I make can be.
He makes me so proud.He thinks I am the strongest woman in the world,and I think he is the sweetest boy ever.
I really love making soap,cosmetics,oh it is so fun,I like designing the soap bars from colors to scents to shapes,it is magical almost to see the finished product after all the ideas become real!!Learning about essential oils was one of the coolest things while learning to make soap,I love the therapeutical uses of it.
I can paint,not very professional,but a little paint here and there,the canvas looks alright...
I really like drawing,faces,eyes,body,I am good at that,but the competiton has me beat... Computers,arghh!!!
I like to garden,althought I dont have much room for it...
I like dogs,I want a stafforshire bull terrier(nanny dog),they are sweet as can be...
I just found out how huge a maine coon is,now I want one!!
I wished I was good at playing video games,my son would love me more if I knew,but nope I am no good...
I like creating new dishes,I come up with ideas on fancy dinners and really get down to some gourmet cooking in my kitchen,I should give myself and award for never ever having left overs,even when I wished I had a piece left to savor it the next day!!!
I have a disfunctional family that would die for each other,and make a point to be close and in touch weekly,if not daily!!I love it!!
I am brazilian,I speak Portuguses,and I speak English too,yes,anyone living in America should learn to speak English,I dont see how one could not...
I got one hell of a personality,maybe a few because,no matter where I go,I eventually fit in and out talk everyone,except if my sister is there,she can out talk me...
I can be shy,I just dont let people see that,and after 15 minutes of talking I forget that sometimes I am shy anyways...
My first car was so cool,in my own eyes,lol!!I drove a 77' Volare,yeah,you never heard of it,most people never did...
But to me my car was the coolest thing,buckets seats,round mirrors,metal rubcaps,and the speedmeter didnt always work,but it had that muscle car look,and boy did that make an impression in High School,and it cost me $250 bucks,lol!!
I am starting to fear getting older,the world expects much more of me,including wrinkles, vanilla fragranced perfum,and prune juice...Yuck!!
I am love,no regrets,I found someone I actually I took the walls down and I just have that feeling it will last forever,the feeling is mutual,I know it...
My jokes arent always funny...
I have this curly hair that can be beautiful,but it is a pain in the ass...
I was not born with green eyes,how dare of my mother!!!
I like being spoiled,if a girl tells me she doesnt I find it hard to believe...
I am creative...I could probably build a house out of sticks and paper bags,lol!!
I am also the biggest procastinator you will know,I hate it!!
I should be in school,but out of my full of time schedule I figure out how to not make room for it...
I like decorating...I like designing...
I love music...All of it!!
Watching movies is so fun,I do it all the time...
I dont like Tv very much except for some shows,and I tivo them...
I like reading,I will pick up a manual and read it if its sitting on the table...
Kevin loves reading too,I am so proud,he is a great reader and has an awesome memory,something I am starting to lack,I have to write things down now...
I believe there is something spiritual about the ocean,I believe swimming in it has healing properties!!If I feel down or upset,swimming in the ocean just clear things up for me...
I wish I never had to grow up,and yeah I wonder if I ever will...
I love Christmas,family together,yummi food and presents,seriously,what could be better???
I love Chili's fajitas, their southwestern egg roll and yes the Lava Molten Cake,yummm!!
I have never seen snow,neither has Kevin,so this year it better snow on Thanksgiving!!
Not in Florida of course,but anywhere I can bring him by to see this together!!
I like getting mail,nothing like a handwritten letter...
I wish I could quit smoking,I have to,it says you can lose 10 years of living to smoking,and I dont want to miss 10 years of Kevin,not even a minute!!
I want to adopt,I tell people that and some actually think I am crazy,for all the thing it could go wrong,but thats the essence of being a parent,no matter how much you expect,you never know!!
The idea of giving a child who has nothing, a home,a family,and the most important LOVE,sounds like such a wonderful thing,I want to do that for someone who hasnt experienced that...And I dont want a baby either,I want a child that someone overlooked,someone passed on,that was left behind...They deserve a chance!!
Politics,I am very much into presidential election,I remember when Bush first got in,and I didnt think it could be that bad,and yes it was...I cant vote,I am only a resident,and I hope Obama wins,if there is any hope left,I see it in him,not Mccain,he just feels way too comfortable how Bush handled this country and if he cant see that as a mistake I dont want him as my president.
I am tired of writing about myself...If anyone read this far I am sure they are tired of reading about myself...
So this is a little tiny piece of who I am,there is much and much and muuuuuuuuuuch more and if it was so interesting I would write a book,but not yet,who knows in the years to come!!
